He is survived by: his wife Janet Elaine Swartz of Detroit; his sisters, Sharon Norton (James) and Karen Bontrager; his children, Mark Allen of Sarasota and Ruth Laetz (Jason); his grandchildren, Cassie Rice (Pat), Carly Westensee (Jeff), Reagan Laetz and Laura Laetz; his great grandchildren, Anna, Whitley and Ellison; and his grandchildren, Ophelia, Lutsen and Kepler.
