He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal E. Baird and Frances Boker Baird Ray; his brother Charles Baird; his in-laws, Emmett and Vi Winkle; and his brother-in-law James Winkle.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Stacey Cowern (Steve), Amy Crook (Tom Wright), Ren'ae Barnes and Brian Baird; his brothers, Royal E. Baird Jr. (Kelly) and Clark Baird; his sister-in-law Julie Winkle; his grandchildren, Megan, Ryan Cowern, Owen, Quinn and Willow Wright; and his nieces, Emily Meuth (Jake), Allison Patel (Rishi) and Karly McDonald (Roger). He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, and many cousins.
