He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hyatt and Marjorie Hyatt (Cox). He is survived by: his wife Ruthy Hyatt; his children, Angelique and Andrew; his granddaughter Brooklyn; and his sisters, Irene Exler and Laverne Hyatt.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to Chabad of Sarasota, Chabad of Lakewood Ranch, and Temple Emanu-el of Sarasota in Ron's name.
