He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bierwagen (Bierwagen) and Freda Bierwagen; and his sister Marilyn Tompkins. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Bierwagen; his daughter Kari Bierwagen Schlieper; his grandchildren, Wesley of Nashville Tenn and Jolie Schlieper Friedrich (Gabriel) of Jacksonville; his son Chris; his granddaughters, Cassidy and Carly Bierwagen of Florida; and his nieces, Cyndy Hampton and Pam Kidwell.
The military honors will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
