It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rory MacConnell of Sarasota, Florida, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elam MacConnell and Catherine MacConnell (Manly); his son Christopher; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer (Dolan); his children, Brian and Stephanie (Winston Hegener); his grandchildren, James, Christian, Kinley, Isla and Clara; his siblings, Pat Benson, Ronald, Donald, Kathy (Sam Calello), Jay (Bonnie Bench) and Robyn (Jude Knesel); and his pets, Olaf and Anna. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Shriners Hospital in memory of Rory MacConnell.
