Shirley Ann Rivers Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 3, 2022, at the age of 74, Shirley Ann Rivers of Sarasota, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Hadley and Flora Hadley (McNew); her adoptive parents, Jack LeRoy and Estella Louise Sullivan (Keuthan); her husband Robert Ronald "Ron" Rivers; and her siblings, Melvin Hadley, Stanley, Billy, Ralph Leasure and Betty Elton.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Heid of Columbus, Robert Heid Jr. (Tonya) of Indianapolis, Donna Erisman (Jerry) of Indianapolis and Susan Hirtzel (Lewis) of Sarasota, Florida; her stepchildren, Robert Rivers (Linda) of Indianapolis, Dale Rivers (Melissa) of Indianapolis and Julie Sprinkle of Indianapolis; and her siblings, Cecil Burge (Joyce) of North Vernon, Janet Murphy, Laura Brown, Sally Millwood, Janie Minks, Polly Ferguson, Patty, Cathy, Penny and Chrissy. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in honor of Shirley through the funeral home to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
