With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Kay Shoemaker in Sarasota, Florida, born in Fort Worth, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude and Lila; and her brother James. She is survived by: her husband John Shoemaker; her children, David Easter (Lisa) of Wymoma, Debbie Rizzo of Danbury and Jackie Chartier (Russ) of Ormond Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Mandy (Collin) of Tampa, FL, David (Lauren) of Springfield, MO, Kristi DeRuburtis (Justin) of Bethel, CT, Sherry Duffy (Bruce) of New Milford, CT, Michael Rizzo of Bethel, CT, Devon Morrison of Port Orange, FL and Camhe Morrison; and her great grandchildren, Aliza, Charlotte, Jack, Dean, Blake, Claire, Brook and Fred.
