Stephen M. Satir Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen M. Satir of Sarasota, Florida, born in Tenafly, New Jersey, who passed away on August 19, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stephen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his girlfriend Carol Hawthorne. He is survived by: his daughter Dana; his granddaughter Saoirse; his son-in-law Robert Flanagan; his sister Barbara McCullough; and his former wife Lois Voight.
In his honor, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Children's Hospital Colorado—causes close to his heart.
