He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas P. Lavin, Sr. and May Alberta Smith; and his sibling Mick. He is survived by: his wife Claire; his daughters, Theresa, Michelle and Mary Beth; his granddaughters, Melinda, Martina, Leah, Jennifer and Nicole; and his siblings, Mark, Pat and Patrice.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory - 26th St. Chapel (5624 26th St W, Bradenton, FL 34207). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church (833 Magellan Dr, Sarasota, FL 34243). A committal service will be held on Friday, February 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
