He was predeceased by: his nephews, Zachary Lambright and Elijah Strader. He is survived by: his parents, Edd G. Vowels and Mary "Rita" Vowels (Beaven); his daughter Savannah; his wife Susan; his son Tanner Vowels; and his siblings, Lauri Kinslow (Clay) and Tim Vowels (Pam). He is also survived by Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other beloved family members and friends.
