He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Barton and Ruth Weinberg Barton; and his sister Bella Barton Webb. He is survived by: his wife Mary Barton; his brother Dr. Douglas H. Barton; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Zoss Barton and Donald Webb; and his nieces, Debra Barton Grant, Jennifer Barton Lutz, Amy Webb, Lindsey Barton Mintz and Hilary Webb Propst.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Palms Memorial Park (170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Todd H. Barton to the Anti-Defamation League (605 Third Ave. New York, NY 10158).
