He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Mae Phillips and Almond Phillips, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Deloris Perry Phillips; his sons, Gregg Phillips and Christopher Phillips; his stepson Nickoy Newell; his daughter Anita Sellers; his stepdaughters, Jeneva Jackson Brothers (Albert Phillips Sr.) and Herculee Phillips (Harry Phillips); and his sisters, Annie Mae Brooks, Vera Mae Phillips, Nedda Mae Phillips and Elizabeth Mitchell. He is also survived by His Twin) A host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (4005 N Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34234). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Sinai Seventh-Day Adventist Church (3620 Leonard Reid Ave, Sarasota, FL 34234).
