William R. Power Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William R. Power in Sarasota, Florida, born in Lynn, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Power (Haley) and Ralph A. Power; his sister Mary E. Power; his niece Regina McCluskey; and his son Jonathan A. Power.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Frey Power; his daughter Nicole Power; his sister Jean (Dan St Cyr) of New York; and his in-laws, George and Diane Frey of Puyallup, WA.. He is also survived by great nieces /nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Bill would prefer donations sent to either the Newburyport Preservation Trust or Sweet Paws Rescue….both 501 (c) 3 nonprofits.
