With sadness, we share the passing of William H. Pugh Jr. of Sarasota, Florida. William passed away on June 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pugh and Virgie Pugh; and his sister Barbara Howard. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Pugh; his son Brian Pugh; his granddaughter Annie Pugh; his siblings, Christopher Pugh, Deborah Williams (Rob) and Maurice Pugh (Dorothy); his nieces and nephews, Asha Howard, Ronica Williams, Khalil Williams, Kellie Stephens, Willie Shaw Junior, Chip Sheffield, Tony Sheffield and Jamal Watson; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Sheffield, Lloyd Sheffield, Diane Watson and Robert Lindsey. He is also survived by cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Humane Society of Sarasota in Henry's memory.
