We bid farewell to Wilma A. Armstrong of Sarasota, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Wilma touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hilgemann and Anna Hilgemann (Miller); her daughter Cindy Armstrong; her siblings, Kenneth Hilgemann and Carol Basinger; her nephew Scott Hilgemann; and her granddaughter Ashley Zadai.
She is survived by: her children, David Armstrong, Cathy Armstrong McKeehan, Steve Armstrong (Jill) and Dan Armstrong (Beth); and her sister-in-law Bernadine Hilgemann. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota or the Wildlife Center of Southwest Florida.
