She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Billings and Margaret Billings (John Matthew Gerding). She is survived by: her significant other John Matthew Gerding; her sister Virginia Basa; her children, John Matthew Gerding, Jr. (Nancy), Elizabeth Carlisle (Stanley), William Gerding (Laurie), Joseph Gerding (Melinda) and Michael Gerding (Martha); and her grandchildren, John Matthew Gerding, III (Amber), Jackie Harrell (Nate), Tim Anderson (Ali), Kathleen Gerding, Jimmy Anderson, Andrew Gerding (Sherrill), Warren Gerding, Jillian Gerding, Dylan Gerding (Gloria) and Megan Vaira (Triston). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jesus Catholic Church (3050 N Hwy A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
