He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burger and Anna Burger (Ketzer); his wife Carole Arlene Burger; and his daughter Arlene Marie Burger (Richard P. Debrick). He is survived by: his sisters, Joan F. Wold and Lydia K. Thorpe; his brother-in-law Frank Debrick; his nephew G. Daniel Burger Jr. (Susan Goodemote Burger); his niece Christine M. V. McCaffery (Brian J. McCaffery); his grandchildren, Michael A. Raphael (Chandra Pingel), David A. Goodemote and Christine M. Burger McPherson (Billy McPherson III); and his great grandchildren, Michael D. Raphael, Adalie C. Raphael, Brianna J. McPherson, Fiona R. McPherson and Evangeline M. McPherson.
