She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gertz and Helen Gertz; her brother Henry; her husband Douglas; and her daughter Susan (McIntosh).

She is survived by: her children, Steven (Joan) and Karen Pilman (John). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
