He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mislick and Phebe Mislick (Sheffield); his stepmother Shirley Mislick (Sheffield); his brother Jeffrey Mislick; and his pet Koty.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia "Jody" Mislick (Frutchey); his siblings, Judith and Randolph (Kelley); his children, Gary Walter, Curt (Jennifer Grannata) and Virginia "Ginny" King (Tim); and his grandson Carson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson, Wright and Weymer Funeral Home (34 Main St, Centerbrook, CT 06409). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Deep River Congregational Church (1 Church St, Deep River, CT 06417). A committal service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Winthrop Cemetery. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Gary would have appreciated donations made to any of the following: Deep River Fire Dept., Old Lyme Ambulance Assoc. or Valley Shore Animal Welfare League.
