He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Smith and Elizabeth Dwinell (Kanlic); and his siblings, Charles Dwinell and Patricia Hutching. He is survived by: his stepfather Robert Dwinell; his wife Sallie M Dwinell (Ziegenfuss); his children, James N. (Tammy Dwinell) of Florida, Richard (Colleen) of New Jersey and Tracey of New Jersey; his brother John (Jean); and his stepsiblings, George, Eddie, Barbara Frack and Jackie Donnell.
