He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Cooler and Edith Cooler; his daughter Tracy Cooler; his grandson Payton Shane Canedy; and his siblings, Charles, Allen, Edwin, James, Richard and Edith Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Pauline Cooler; his daughter Connie Canedy; his son-in-law Shane Canedy; his grandchildren, Levi Canedy, Evan Canedy, Maliyah Canedy and David Hernandez; and his children, Clayton Cooler and Shannon Lindsay.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Winter Beach Cemetery (4620 69th St, Vero Beach, FL 32967).
