He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Steinert (Mircle) and Gibert Steinert; and his parents-in-law, Margaret Weitz (Bernhardt), George Weitz and Dale Bradley.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Steinert; his sister Judith; his brother-in-law Richard of Oshkosh; his nieces and nephews, Laurie Meirswa (Steven) of Pickett and Craig Leinweber (Michelle) of Ripo; and his daughter-in-law Ann Steinert (Pistohl).
