He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Caporizzo and Mollie Caporizzo (Gerardi); and his sister Margo Brown. He is survived by: his children, Sherri Caporizzo (Danny) and Scott Caporizzo (Susie); his stepdaughters, Anne O'Hagan (Mark) and Christine Adonetti (Nick); his grandchildren, Billy (Tara), Scotty (Erika), Tami, Kelly (Devin), Ryan (Belinda) and Sean; his great grandchildren, Madison, Bronson, Maeve and Ryder; his brother-in-law Peter Brown; his cousin Vita Ienner; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Milito (Lorraine) and Gloria Milito. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family, and many close friends.
