He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kirk and Edna Rachel Woolery (Welling); his sisters, Nancy Elizabeth Hall (Philip Wells Hall), Lucretia Ann Gabor (Don) and Margaret Ellen "Midge" Engle (Donald); his nephew Daniel Gabor; and his sister-in-law Ruth Cota Weston.
He is survived by: his wife Ernestine "Tine" Woolery; his sons, Wayne Kirk Woolery (Michelle) of Old Saybrook and Aaron Parrott (Cristina) of Wenatchee, Washington; and his grandchildren, Ryan Woolery (Jessica) and Kaitlin Woolery. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Legion Post 14 in Vergennes, Vermont, in support of its scholarship fund.
