She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Carlson and Lillian Carlson. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Reid" Kitchen of Sebring, FL; her children, Cynthia Peterson (John) of Anderson, SC, Thomas M. Hamblen, Jr. (Susan) of Lynchburg, VA, Nathaniel Lee Hamblen (Diane) of Kings Park, NY, Elta Bergold (Rob) of Patchogue, NY, Ron Kitchen (Penny) of Wixon, MI and Becky Schwartz (Brian) of Talkeetna, AK; and her brother Hank Carlson of Smithtown, NY. She is also survived by eighteen Grandchildren; twenty Great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Maranatha Baptist Church (35 Maranatha Blvd, Sebring, FL 33870). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Maranatha Manor.
