Ruiz; her children, Nelson Alvarez (Felicia Chavonne), Lucia Rodriguez (Gregorio), Miriam Prestol, Annette Carter and Jose Ruiz Jr.; and her sister Monserrate Torres. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
