He is survived by: his wife Maria Rubi of Sebring, Florida; his children, Rene Rubi (Yumary) of Houston, TX and Raquel Rubi of St. Augustine, FL; and his grandchildren, Ana Paloma Rubi, Amellia Maria Rubi, Andrea Castaneda and Alisia Castaneda.
