He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Leroy and Edith Ruth Fluharty (Hunter). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Fluharty of Sebring, FL; his children, Kim Fluharty Denson (Max) of St. Theresa, FL, Stephen Winegard (Theresa) of Port St and Christina Hill (Travis) of Sebring, FL; his brothers, James Tennant of Fairview, WV and Jake Toothman of Fairview, WV; and his grandchildren, Jesse, Logan, Kalyn and Rhett.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Whispering Pines Baptist Church (303 White Pine Dr, Sebring, FL 33872). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Highlands County Sheriff's Office designated for the "HCSO Youth Camp" and mailed to 400 S. Eucalyptus St Sebring, FL 33870 Attn: Cindy Ritenour.
