He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Childress and Sally Childress (Boney). He is survived by: his wife Linda Childress of Sebring, FL; his children, Mark Childress (Lucia) of Beauford, NC and Kari Childress of Daytona Beach, FL; and his sister Judy Summer (Dwayne) of Sebring, FL. He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren; and 2 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Heartland Food Bank or First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid.
