We are sad to announce that, on June 26, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Doris L. Trotter-Collins of Sebring, Florida, born in Hamilton, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Higginson and Martha Higginson (Tittle); her former spouse Willie Everett Trotter; her husband Edward Collins; her children, Beverly Jones of Princeton, IL and Gary Organ of McLeansboro; her caregiver Larry Credille of Sebring, FL; and her grandchildren, Sara McKinnis, Jason Organ, Mark Organ, Lisa Kinnamon and Jeffrey Jones. She was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Doris' memory to First Baptist Church in Carmi, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements. You may make a donation pledge via our website.
