He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Burnhart and Luella Margaret Fisher (Welch); his siblings, Sharon Hatfield, Richard Fisher (Dick) and Butch Fisher; his children, Fred Jr., Tom, John and Belinda Fisher; his grandchildren, Ashley Whitman (David), Mark Whitman (Alicia) and Scott Fisher; his niece Regina D.; his nephew George H.; his great grandchildren, Ella Mae B., Cameron Whitman, Declan and Morgan Whitman; his stepchildren, Carolann Conover and Arthur III; and his great grandchildren, Allyson Conover, Anthony Long and Brandon Conover. He was also cherished by 4 children, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, 1 niece and 1 nephew.
