He was predeceased by: his parents, George Furman and Delores Furman; his brother Robert Furman (Butch); and his niece Misty Furman. He is survived by: his children, Tammy (Germany) of Sebring and Shawn of Tallahassee, Florida.; his wife Jeanette Warner; his granddaughter Zoe of Tallahassee, Florida.; and his siblings, Georgia Lewis, Penny Furman and Terry Furman of Groton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
