It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George L. Wadsworth Sr. in Sebring, Florida, born in Wauchula, Florida, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leslie and Billie B. Wadsworth; and his former wife Judith E. Wadsworth. He is survived by: his wife Winnie Gordon Wadsworth; his children, George L. Wadsworth, Jr. and Kelly Wadsworth Moye (Matt); his stepchildren, Greg Gordon (Reggie), Suzanne Gordon Hamar (Dave) and Pete Gordon (Angie); his brother William L. Wadsworth (Joan); and his cousins, Ken Carithers (Mary), Billie Sue Johnson (Joey) and Carolyn Lomax (Scott). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
