He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sparks and Estelle Gage Sparks; and his sisters, Betty Hughes and Joyce Sparks. He is survived by: his spouse Billie Ruth Sparks; his children, Amy Young (Randy) and Heath Sparks (Patty); his grandchildren, Aliscia Andrews (Daryl), Kaitlyn Young, Madison Young and Adam Braud (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Logan Andrews, Sloane Andrews and Evie Braud; and his sisters, Phyllis McKinney, Emma Gouge, Lou Buchanan, Patsy Connelly and Nina Long.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Gideons International or Habitat for Humanity in memory of Howard Sparks.
