He is survived by : his sister Janet Lincoln of Wahoo, NE; his children, Martin Schumacher (Melodie) of Floral City, FL, Margot Foligno (John) of Sebring, FL and Marcus Schumacher (Denise) of Chuluota, FL; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jessica, Jeremy, Carson, Kaitlynn, Brittany, Brooke and Thomas; and his stepdaughters, Christine Gregory and Cindy Bevis.

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home - Sebring (4001 Sebring Pkwy, Sebring, FL 33870).

In lieu of flowers, a donation in John's honor can be made to Florida National Cemetery. Checks can be made out to Florida National Cemetery Gift Fund and mailed to 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513-8914.
