She was predeceased by: her parents, Fielding Hunter Thurmond Jr. and Virginia Belle Thurmond (Peppercorn); her husband Bryan S. Belcher; and her daughter Vicki Layton. She is survived by: her brothers, Fred Thurmond (Susan) of Tallahassee and Lou Thurmond of Gainesville; her children, Coni Cook (Jay) of Eustis, Bryan H. Belcher (Diane) of Sebring and Shirley Willsey (Alan) of Winter Springs; and her grandchildren, Matthew Cook, Casey Cook, Phillip Layton Jr., Robert Layton, Mason Belcher, Amy Willsey, Hannah Cymny, Benjamin Willsey and Jackson Belcher. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
