He was predeceased by: his daughter Dorothy Ann; and his brother James Mellor. He is survived by: his sons, Karl, Jr. (Colleen) and Scott (late Lisa); his grandchildren, Timothy Mellor (Cait), Jessica DeZolt (Joseph), Nicole Sayers (Jeffrey) and Dillon Mellor; his great grandchildren, June, Greyson, Madison, Olivia, Emily, Tierney and Reese; his brothers, John, William and Thomas; and his close friend Barbara Luty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
