He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Will Waycaster and Emma Lou Thomas Waycaster; and his siblings, Clarence Elmer Waycaster and Nell Whisnant. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Percy Wacaster; his children, Belinda Randall (Michael), Michael Wacaster (Connie), Audrey Foster (Connan), Alesia Fearnley (William), Darren Wacaster (Charlene), Keith Wacaster (Elizabeth) and Kenneth Robert Wacaster Jr.; and his siblings, Della Davis, Claudia Gooch (Joe), Jack Waycaster (Linda), Willie Lou Barbour (George) and Danny Waycaster (Linda). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 17 great children and many nieces and nephews.
