She was predeceased by : her parents, Bentio Ascencio and Mercedes Rosa Ascencio; and her brother Fernando Ascencio. She is survived by : her husband Lorenzo Hernandez Alonso; her children, Maria Elena Figueredo and Gaudy Elenia Hernandez; and her siblings, Betty Ascencio, Oscar Ascencio, David Ascencio and Angel Ascencio.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home - Sebring (4001 Sebring Pkwy, Sebring, FL 33870). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
