Peter A. French Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 6, 2026, at the age of 86, Peter A. French (Sebring, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Peter may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Peter touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall French and Susan French; his brothers, David and Jon French; and his pets, Marley and Annie.
He is survived by: his wife Jan R. French; and his children, Adam Downs (Michelle), Matthew Downs (Alison), Tina Spence and Tyler French. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two cousins and three nephews.
