She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Abel Whitney and Nellie Bly Rudd Whitney; and her siblings, John Whitney, James Whitney and Virginia Browning.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon W. Crews; and her daughters, Deborah A. Crews, Cathy Johnson and Barbara Michaels. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
