She is survived by : her children, Jessie Farrer, Barbie Dobbins, Manuel Ferrell, Dennis Ferrell, Trina Ferrell, John Powell Jr. and Robbie Hedges; and her siblings, Lawrence Brown III, Barbara Jean Thompson, Delores Brown, Steve Brown and William Brown.

Her passion for riding horses and dedication to donating to charities showcased her caring and selfless nature.
