He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin "Doc" (Olivia Altman) and Tom; his former wife Margaret Carr Altman; and his brother Dwain Altman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Altman; his daughter Karen Altman; his nephews, Mark Altman, Steven Altman and Greg Chaney; and his niece Amy Permenter.
