He is survived by: his wife Candita Martinez; and his children, Rafael Jr., Maribel, Ana Rosa, Alfredo, Vilma, Nelson and Roberto. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, with two more great-great-grandchildren.
