He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Bridge and Mildred Martin; and his son-in-law Mike Odorjynski. He is survived by : his wife Lois; and his children, Julie Odorzynski (Jim Yankovich), Jennie Whitecomb (Mitch), Mike Bridge (Tami) and John Bridge (Jennifer). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

“In loving memory of James Bridge, I recall the first time meeting my dear friends' Grandpa, Jim Bridge a decade ago. So welcoming and friendly, he was a man who knew how to live life to the fullest. What a wonderful example of a good life he showed us, he will always be admired and remembered. He will be missed by so many people, especially his beloved wife and family, but the way he shared himself with the world will never be forgotten. God bless him and his family at this time & always.”

“In loving memory of James M Bridge, please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. I met Jim and Lois Bridge at the Ottawa River Yacht Club in (approx 1985-86) when I was the first mate on the boat (Diamond Lady). They became instant friends to me and always made me feel welcome whenever I saw them. They were amazing dancers and I was mesmerized while watching them. At one point Jim gave dance lessons to some of us at the club. I was so proud when he became Commodore of the ILYA”
