He was predeceased by: his parents, John Valenty and Josephine Valenty. He is survived by: his wife Celeste (Chlapowski); and his grandchildren, Calley, Cade Gerdes, Conor, Canyon MacMillan, Lilly, Nolan Duffy, Siegel and Jim.
