She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Finnis; her stepson Michael Finnis; her brothers, Kevin Ruth (Cathy) and Ronald Ruth (Lesa); and her close friend Janice Cangelosi. She is also survived by family; and many nieces and nephews.
She earned her master's degree in psychology from Illinois State University, a foundation that guided her remarkable career as a pet loss support grief counselor with Pinellas County Animal Foundation.
