She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Anna Gayer (Hamann); her children, Brian Kooiman (Jan) of Austin, TX, Waldon Kooiman (Susan) of Charlotte, NC, Pamela Cartier of Largo, FL and Sharman Cunningham of Young Harris, GA.; her grandchildren, Brad Kooiman, Ashley Kooiman, J. Matthew Parrott, Michael Kooiman and Anna Stuckey; her great grandchildren, Rebecca Luker, Casey Luker, Corey Luker, Brooks Stuckey, Poppy Kooiman and Annabel Stuckey; and her sister Berdena Buma.
Marian has requested that memorial gifts be made to Epilepsy Foundation and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church .
