He was predeceased by : his parents, Cristo Perez and Aidee Perez. He is survived by : his daughters, Sarah Perez (Marci) and Emily Perez; his fiancée Maryellen Waskiewicz; his fiancée's daughter Nikki Waskiewicz; his sister Roxanne Perez; his grandchildren, Alaina, Tony Rodriguez and Blake Bevacqua-Bailey; and his pet Bernie.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the E. James Reese Funeral Home (6767 Seminole Blvd, Seminole, FL 33772). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the American Legion Post 273 (600 American Legion Dr, Madeira Beach, FL 33708).
