She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Cahal and Shirley Cahal-Embry; her stepfather James Embry; and her brother James Embry (Jim). She is survived by: her husband Allen Hemmer; her brother Michael Embry; her daughters, Lisa Brown (William), Jennifer High (Gordon) and Laura Kilgore; her grandchildren, Angelia, Christina (Robert), Jonathan (Samantha), Adrian (Siara), Brandon (Kaylee), Cadence and Calie; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Mia, Oakley, Otto, Ocean, Remington, Brynleigh and Sawyer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or Alzheimer's Association.
